New MUPPETS HAUNTED MANSION Image Shows Kermit Dressed In Drag
The Muppets are moving into The Haunted Mansion with the incoming Halloween special: Muppets Haunted Mansion, streaming on Disney+ this October.
Good news, we’ve recently been treated to the very first look from the forthcoming special — with two brand new images!
Check out two first-look images from Entertainment Weekly:
Deadline initially reported on the special earlier this year, sharing:
The Muppets’ first-ever Halloween special, Muppets Haunted Mansion will feature the Muppets cast, celebrity cameos and new music and spooky amusement for families to enjoy later this fall. Muppets Haunted Mansion will take place on Halloween night, when Gonzo is challenged to spend one night in The Haunted Mansion.
It’s not only The Muppets moving into the mansion. An all-new live-action movie begins production on location in NOLA this fall. Earlier this year we got word that director Justin Simien (Bad Hair) is in line to direct the big-budget Disney project. This news comes not long after Disney announces the script is by comedy writer Katie Dippold (Ghostbusters).
The latest live-action iteration of The Haunted Mansion will have no connection to the lacklustre 2003 Disney outing. With Tiffany Haddish and LaKeith Stanfield also attached, our hopes for The Haunted Mansion continue to grow…
The original dark ride which inspired it all opened its doors back in 1969 and is still afloat today. The ride has theme park guests travel through a derelict mansion that has in store many spooky and terrible delights. The ride also hosts a number of memorable characters which we hope to see make an appearance in both upcoming films.
