Scenes with Damon, Stefan, and Klaus are usually a lot of fun, and this new clip from tonight’s episode of “The Vampire Diaries” entitled “A View to a Kill” is no exception. Check it out along with our image gallery for the ep and info on the show’s #1 social media ranking last week.

DANGEROUS LIAISONS — When Rebekah (Claire Holt) turns down Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) plea to stop Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) and protect Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Klaus turns to Stefan (Paul Wesley) for help.

After an angry confrontation with her father, Mayor Hopkins (guest star Rick Worthy), over his unconventional approach to ending the violence in Mystic Falls, Bonnie (Kat Graham) has a frightening run-in with Kol, followed by an unexpected visitor.

Klaus complicates the already tense feelings between Stefan and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) by revealing a bit of Stefan’s personal life, then surprises Damon by asking for personal advice. Elena (Nina Dobrev) tells Stefan about her dangerous plan for Jeremy, leaving Stefan in a difficult spot.

When the high school’s 1980s Decade Dance is cancelled by Mayor Hopkins, Stefan finds a charming way to make it up to a disappointed Rebekah.

As a point of interest, last week for the first time, “The Vampire Diaries” topped Trendrr’s list of the most social primetime TV series on broadcast television, ranking as network TV’s #1 social program during the week of January 21–27. “The Vampire Diaries” fans threw a #TVDparty throughout social media last week, generating nearly 865,000 social interactions across Twitter, Facebook, GetGlue, and Viggle according to Trendrr.TV, taking a bite out of former list topper “American Idol” and besting iconic hits such as “The Simpsons,” “Family Guy,” and “Glee.”
