Sorry, Sci-Fi Fans: Only 4 Episodes About Aliens in AMERICAN HORROR STORY: DOUBLE FEATURE
The upcoming 10th season of American Horror Story is Double Feature. As the title implies, we’ll be getting two scary storylines in a single season. Reports and teasers have already revealed that one story, “Red Tide” will be set by the ocean and feature a sea creature. The second story, “Death Valley” will take place on land and include aliens (or at least one alien).

But if you were hoping for a 50/50 split between sea and land, think again. Apparently, the “Red Tide” storyline will take place over six episodes while “Death Valley” will be four episodes long. That’s bad news for American Horror Story fans like me who have been jonesing for alien action! Aliens haven’t been seen in the American Horror Story universe since they kidnapped Kit Walker (Evan Peters) in Season 2, Asylum.
Per Deadline:
In an interview with Deadline as part of FX’s TCA virtual summer press tour, the network’s chairman John Landgraf confirmed how the season, which premieres August 25th, will be split between the two features, with the first one spanning the first six episodes and the second the remaining four.
American Horror Story: Double Feature is the tenth installment of the award-winning anthology series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
Confirmed cast members for Season 10 include Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Adina Porter, Angelica Ross, Kaia Gerber, and Macaulay Culkin. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Dante Di Loreto, Tim Minear, James Wong, Jennifer Salt, Bradley Buecker, Alexis Martin Woodall, Crystal Liu, Adam Penn, and John J. Gray serve as executive producers. Alexis Martin Woodall, Patrick McKee, Robert M. Williams Jr., and Ned Martel produce. Murphy remains the showrunner.
A collision of terror like you’ve never seen. American Horror Story: Double Feature premieres on August 25th on FX; new episodes will stream the following day on Hulu.
