‘Howling Village’ Has Now Arrived on VOD!

From writer and director Takashi Shimizu (The Grudge and The Grudge 2), Howling Village follows a young psychologist who visits an infamous haunted and cursed location to investigate her brother’s disappearance and uncover her family’s dark history.

Released by DREAD (the horror distribution arm of our parent company, Epic Pictures) Howling Village arrived in select theaters on August 13th. Today, the film is available on VOD and a Blu-Ray release will follow on September 14th.

Synopsis:
After her brother goes missing, Kanade, a young psychologist visits his last known location, an infamous haunted and cursed site known as “Howling Village” to investigate his disappearance. Her investigation reveals that the village’s mysteries are connected to her family and works to uncover her family’s dark history.

Takashi Shimizu co-wrote the screenplay for Howling Village with Daisuke Hosaka; the film stars Ayaka Miyoshi, Ryota Bando, Megumi Okina, and Renji Ishibashi.
