Exclusive: The Beast is Unleashed in the Trailer for ‘The Amityville Moon’

Fans of the Amityville franchise and werewolf horror will want to check out The Amityville Moon when it arrives on DVD and VOD on October 5 from Lionsgate.

Synopsis:
What if a house of holiness turned out to be a haven of evil? As Alyssa and Karla try to escape from the church home that holds them captive, Karla is slaughtered by a vicious, semi-human creature. After Detective Kimball tracks down Alyssa at a rowdy biker bar, she tells Kimball that women inmates disappear every full moon, and shows him the silver bullets in her gun. Now the two must return to the halfway house to confront the priest and nuns—and the snarling, savage evil—that dwell within.

The Amityville Moon is written and directed by Thomas J. Churchill; the film stars Cody Renee Cameron (The Neon Demon) and Tuesday Knight (A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 4). The Amityville Moon is executive produced by James T. Bruce IV, Steven Louis, and Mike Lischke. Churchill, Binh Dang, and Phillip B. Goldfine are producers.

He even directed Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, which was Andrew LaSane's Scarred for Life pick, which is one of Terry's favorite movies. We chat about his long history in cinema; about how he started working with Romero to some insights into Tales from the Darkside. And we discuss his latest work, the novel Residue: Paramentals Rising, which is a sequel to the Netflix show. After learning about his horror history--including a memorable viewing of Night of the Living Dead--we find out why The Haunting terrified him as a twelve year old.
