‘As Good As Dead’ Invades The Horrible Imaginings Film Festival

You’re either the good, the dead, or As Good As Dead. This brand new splatterfest joins the Horrible Imaginings Film Festival from the twisted brain of filmmaker Dave Reda. We got our hands on this zombie short film and it’s everything we want from indie horror. Gory, funny, and full of heart (and a garden variety of other organs), this short is a must-watch at this year’s Horrible Imaginings Film Festival which kicked off this week in California.

As Good as Dead also played the prestigious Dances With Films festival, marking yet another notch on this shorts world domination tour. The cast includes Ashley Mary Nunes, Dani Sciacca, and Jeffrey Damnit.

Check out the As Good As Dead teaser:

Not in Cali? No biggie! Dave Reda’s zombie spectacular is part of HIFF’s Dangerous Knowledge digital showcase! Access it right here until September 13th. Don’t wait.

According to the HIFF official website, the ‘Dangerous Knowledge lineup is all about the violence of not learning from our mistakes…

“Is ignorance ever preferable to knowledge? Stories have, throughout history, warned of the dangers of learning beyond what we should. These stories explore this concept.

Other excellent shorts in this lineup also includes:

My Religious Family by Brandon Hicks, Santayana’s Passage by Mick Dow, Midnight Snack by Luke Roulstone, In These Parts by Ryan Powers, Sacred Mother by Maximiliano Garcia, Aquarium by Nikiel Suchit, Philosopher’s Tofu by Shih Chun Hsiao, The Expected by Carolina Sandvik, Tutu Grande by Derek Sitter, and The Curse of Pizza Mike by David Sherbrook & Scott Dawson.
