New Clip From ‘Bad Candy’ Is All Trick, No Treat

The next release from Dread (the horror distribution arm of our parent company, Epic Pictures) is the Halloween-themed anthology Bad Candy. Look for it in select theaters this Friday, September 10, and on VOD beginning September 14. A Blu-ray release will follow on October 12.

Today, we have a brand new clip from Bad Candy to share with you all. Meet “Mr. Grimsley” below the trailer and synopsis.

Synopsis:
On Halloween night in New Salem, Radio DJs Chilly Billy (Slipknot’s Corey Taylor) and Paul (Zach Galligan, Gremlins) tell a twisted anthology of terrifying local myths. Residents of the small-town experience horrifying paranormal encounters that lead them to a grim end.

Bad Candy is written and directed by Scott B. Hansen and Desiree Connell. The film stars Zach Galligan (Gremlins), Derek Russo (Loki), and Slipknot’s Corey Taylor. Regular readers of Dread Central know I’m a huge fan of “The Knot,” so having Taylor in the film is really exciting.
