Hopefully, you’ve already experienced the gory, frenetic insanity of James Wan’s neo-giallo Malignant, which hit theaters and HBO Max last Friday. Now, get ready to lose your mind all over again when Waxwork Records and WaterTower Music releases Joseph Bishara’s brain-twisting soundtrack for Malignant on vinyl.

The Malignant soundtrack is expected to ship during the first quarter of 2022. You can pre-order your copy now, here.

Bishara is best known for his work scoring films such as Insidious, The Conjuring, Annabelle, and The Prodigy. He’s also known for his avant-garde style and unique approach to instrumentation and composition that especially suits horror films.

Bishara disregards horror film score conventions by employing gut-wrenching string dissonance, haunting electronics, and sudden crescendos. His Malignant score offers his distinctive style of disquieting strings, pulsing electronics, droning synths, and haunting sound design.

Waxwork and WaterTower Music’s presentation of Malignant Original Motion Picture Score is a deluxe 2xLP. Its color variants include “blood red with gold blade” and “splattered cold blue,” and feature old-style tip-on gatefold jackets with satin coating, a 12”x12” insert, and original custom key art.
