‘The Deep House’: Exclusive Clip Reveals Something Sinister At The Bottom Of The Lake

It’s not often that haunted houses and aquatic horror meet. But, directors Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo (Inside) have made it happen with their latest film The Deep House. Shot almost entirely underwater, the film involves an influencer couple who take what they think is just another dive. But what they discover under the lake’s surface is much more horrifying.

Check out this exclusive clip from The Deep House:

The clip teases the horrors to come with unexplainable scratches inside the door. Plus, it shows off the found footage techniques Maury and Bustillo utilized to make The Deep House even more claustrophobic.

The Deep House follows an adventuring couple (Camille Rowe, James Jagger) who set out to explore a submerged house in a seemingly tranquil lake to capture uncharted content for their social media followers. Their dive turns into a nightmare as they discover a sinister presence in the perfectly preserved underwater family home. With limited oxygen supply and time running against them, the couple must find a way to escape the underwater house of horrors before it’s too late.

Maury and Bustillo worked with cinematographer and diver Jacques Ballard to film the extensive underwater sequences. The production built the haunted house structure seen in the film in a water tank in Belgium.
