Bullets, Blood, Brains, and Bodies Fly in the Trailer For ‘Wyrmwood: Apocalypse’
Kiah Roache-Turner has a sequel to Wyrmwood brewing, and now it has a trailer that we can dig into. The forthcoming film is titled Wyrmwood: Apocalypse, and this new footage promises more FX-heavy dystopian carnage.
In Wyrmwood: Apocalypse, a soldier named Rhys (Luke Mckenzie) navigates his way through zombie-ridden Australia, determined to track and capture survivors so that the Surgeon General can develop a cure for their undead ailment.

Roache-Turner’s film also stars Shantae Barnes-Cowan, Nicholas Boshier, Bianca Bradey, and Jay Gallagher. This next installment in the Wyrmwood series seems to sport the same influences that endeared many to its predecessor; the movie clearly wears its unabashed obsession with films like Mad Max and Dawn of the Dead on its blood-soaked sleeve.
XYZ Films will release Wyrmwood: Apocalypse stateside in 2022.
