Kate Fills a Vacancy
With Sarah Jessica Parker out of the horror picture Vacancy, I’m sure its producers were freaking out a bit as to what kind of name actress they could get to take her place. It’s not often Parker agrees to horror, so her departure wasn’t too suprising, and I’m happy to report that her replacement is far more desirable.
Kate Beckinsale, she of tight latexy goodness from the Underworld films, has signed on to play the female side of a couple who discover, while on vacation, that their motel room is being taped for a snuff film. Luke Wilson will play the male side while Mark L. Smith has been cast as the bad guy.
Kontrol helmer Nimrod Antal is handling directorial duties, and I bet he’s psyched; look how lucky Len Wiseman got when he had Beckinsale in the Underworld films…
