It’s Christina Ricci’s world and we’re just living in it. The iconic star of the The Addams Family, Sleepy Hollow and Yellowjackets now stars in Monstrous, a 1950s-set horror movie from director Chris Silvertson (I Know Who Killed Me).
The film will see its International Premiere in March at the iconic FrightFest, and Bloody Disgusting has scored a first look at the spooky trailer. Check it out below. Monstrous is a psychological creature feature with a bit of an aquatic twist.
Monstrous concerns “Laura (Christina Ricci), traumatized by an abusive relationship, finally runs away from her former husband with her seven-year-old son Cody. But in their new, idyllic and remote sanctuary, they find they have another, bigger and more terrifying monster to deal with…one that will test both their mental health issues to the limit.”
Monstrous costars the instantly recognizable Colleen Camp (Clue).
