Grotesque ‘Sin Eater’ Trailer Will Leave You Messed Up And Tongue-Tied
Today we got our first glance at Sin Eater, a brutal new horror movie from Carmela Chimera (After Masks). This religiously singed title is coming at you on March 15th 2022 from Indican Pictures via On Demand and DVD.
The fine folk over at Bloody Disgusting have landed the trailer and it looks gross as hell. I hope you don’t have any weirdness about teeth and mouth horror, because this baby is chalk full of it.
The film is inspired by the real life religious legend known as sin eating which has been explored in horror a few times prior. In Sin Eater, a young woman is forced to face the terrible darkness of her past while actual monsters and demons begin to emerge from the shadows.
Synopsis for Sin Eater, via Bloody Disgusting:
“After suffering a terrifying injury, she finds herself alone and stranded in a remote town harboring a dark secret. As she tries to recuperate, she slowly begins to discover intense, bizarre religious phenomena occurring around her. With no one to trust and her time running out, Christine realizes that she will have to fight her inner demons as well as the actual demons who are trying to take her soul in order to make it out alive.”
You can catch horror icon Bill Moseley (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, The Devil’s Rejects) in Sin Eater. Other stars include Danny Bohnen (The Last Son), Scotty Bohnen (The Last Son), and Scott Moore (After Masks).
