12 Spooky TikToks Guaranteed To Freak You Out [Video]
TikTok is taking over. Even I now spend a lot of time under a weighted blanket watching creepy TikToks. I recently found out that I’m not alone in looking for content creators to scare the hell out of me. So, I asked some friends to help me compile a list of unsettling things we’ve found on the app. Happy nightmares!
LIGHTS ARE OFF
Lights Are Off is an account full of really cool, animated creepy stuff. These videos remind me of a sicker The Nightmare Before Christmas blended together with the Creepypasta images that made the internet cool when we were kids. This 3D animator also has a Youtube channel if you want more animated nightmare fuel to get you through the week, too.
Blair Bathory
Blair goes to all of the haunted places so that we don’t have to. The account is full of trips to cemeteries, horror movie locations, and true crime sites. Although, the facts shared in the video are more disturbing than the actual videos. There are also videos like the one from The Conjuring House that leave you wanting to know even more about that experience.
Espooky Tales
One of the things that sets Espooky Tales apart from other podcasts is their strong TikTok game. The podcast is about Latin American folklore, myths, legends, and haunted places so it’s the perfect vehicle to get scary stories to TikTok. Cristina calmly narrates quite a few unsettling stories that will leave you shaking.
SOULMORI
Soulmori’s channel is dedicated to their haunted doll collection. Things took a bizarre turn when a Raggedy Andy got added to the collection. Literally every video about the doll makes me think Annabelle’s male counterpart should make an appearance if we’re going to keep handing out spin-offs in The Conjuring Universe.
Esmeralda
Esmeralda’s pages isnt’ usually dedicated to creepy things. However, when you look at your TV and see a ghostly reflection, you must document it. I find this unsettling because I know I would fall out and die on the spot. Esmeralda handled this situation in a way that I never could and still lives in this haunted house to this day.
Rae
Rae’s TikToks are usually quality creepy videos or funny jokes for genre kids like myself. However, the series documenting The Nauvoo House is an abrupt tonal shift towards the dark and macabre. Each video gets a bit creepier and I had to take numerous breaks. I will definitely ask, “Is this place haunted?” before signing another lease because of these videos.
Dom
Dom’s account is dedicated to documenting the paranormal activity in their house. The video that is possibly the most disturbing is the closet full of “Oh, hell no” that woke him up in the middle of the night. The video also gives us a glimpse of someone/something watching him wake up from the hallway. The videos stop after the seventh one so let’s hope Dom moved out safely.
Gina Soave
Gina’s page is a lot of haunted house stories but some stand out more than others. Especially now that she lives in a haunted house and wakes up from dreams to find random rosaries where they were in said dreams. This is definitely the account of an aspiring influencer that moved into a haunted house. I’m hoping during the next Starbucks run she decides to move because no one should have to live with ghosts in 2022.
Baby Loba
Baby Loba’s account has a few videos documenting what it’s like to work at a haunted cemetery. The ghost is called Charlie and gets very active when the cellphone comes out. While Charlie seems to have a crush on Baby Loba so this is kind of cute, I can’t help thinking about all of the jobs that I’ve quit that weren’t haunted. Could never be me!
Mackie Albertson
Mackie’s whole account is dedicated to spooky happenings. I would never contact ghosts in my house, or break out a Ouija board. However, I do eat a lot of nachos and am now worried about how I would handle a spirit trying to keep me away from my food. Granted, I wouldn’t still be in this house after all of the other things that have happened on this account.
Vicky
Vicky was a normal Youtuber until a door opened behind her while she was recording a video. There is now a whole TikTok account dedicated to contacting this ghost. Someone asked how Vicky stays so calm during these occurrences, and it turns out this is not the first haunted house Vicky has lived in. Good on Vicky for wanting to communicate when I would’ve fled.
lettylovesyou
Imagine getting a text from your little brother about the haunted home you grew up in. As someone who grew up in haunted homes, and has a little brother, this is too much. The amount of stress that I felt because the little brother wasn’t taking this as seriously as he needed to, has probably removed 20 years from my life expectancy. The figure in the window took the remaining years and I am now a ghost.
Let me know if you run across any other terrifying TikToks at @misssharai.
