Die Laughing! A Haunted House 2 on its Way!

Having just watched A Haunted House, I can tell you this… it’s tolerable. While that’s far from a ringing endorsement, at least it was better than the last few Scary Movie entries. With round 2 on its way hopefully Marlon Wayans can add some spice to his original recipe.
The original A Haunted House took in around $40 million worldwide and will be debuting on home video on August 23rd. That being said, Variety is reporting that Open Road Films has acquired U.S. distribution rights to spoof sequel A Haunted House 2, starring Marlon Wayans, who is also co-writing the script.
Production of the sequel will take place this summer, and Open Road will release it nationwide next winter. Look for more on this one as it comes.
