The CW Pulls Cult from its Friday Night Schedule

While we haven’t received official confirmation that The CW is outright cancelling “Cult,” the network has removed the series from its upcoming Friday night schedule for the next three weeks so you do the math.
We just got revised listings from The CW for April 12th, 19th, and 26th, and the 9-10pm spot previously held by “Cult” is being filled by reruns of “The Carrie Diaries” on the 12th and “Oh Sit!” the following two weeks.
The show had a great premise and some pretty cool casting, but things just never really gelled for us. At least Jessica Lucas has the success of Evil Dead to bask in for the moment, and we’re pretty sure Matt Davis will be heading back to Mystic Falls and “The Vampire Diaries” to be resurrected by Silas.
