‘Strawberry Mansion’ Directors Talk Dreams and The Nightmarish Worlds of David Lynch [Watch]
Albert Birney and Kentucker Audley had a dream. Several of them, in fact, that inspired their latest film Strawberry Mansion. The co-directors created a psychedelic world where dreams are taxed and monitored by the government. But, the dream auditor James (Audley) visits one Arabella Isadora (Penny Fuller). His view is turned upside down as the real and dreams intertwine. There are rat sailors, witches, saxophone-playing frogs, fried chicken, and so much more.
In the latest Dread Talks, Mary Beth McAndrews spoke with Birney and Audley to chat about dreams, David Lynch, surrealism, and more.
Strawberry Mansion is now available on digital and VOD.
