‘The Munsters’ Star Daniel Roebuck Reacts To Trailer For New Rob Zombie Film [Watch]

Since he was a kid, actor Daniel Roebuck has loved The Munsters. He collected every character’s action figure and still has them to this day. To say he’s a fan is an understatement. Now, Roebuck’s dreams are coming true as he stars in Rob Zombie’s upcoming adaptation as Grandpa Munster. He stars alongside Jeff Daniel Phillips and Sherri Moon Zombie, who play Herman and Lily Munster, respectively. With the release of the full trailer, Roebuck sat down to watch and give us his honest reactions.

Roebuck explains that after seeing so many reaction videos about any and all content about the new Munsters, he decided to make his own. He wanted to give insight into the work that went on from both the cast and crew. And that he does, especially when it comes to the costume design for both Herman and Lily.

His first reaction was simply repeating the word “wow” in excitement, especially when it comes to the performances from Phillips and Moon Zombie. He also shares that it’s been almost three years since he got the offer from Zombie for the film. And, to showcase just how much his family loves The Munsters, he said his wife was wearing a Lily Munster shirt when he got that fateful phone call.

Watch his full reaction below:

Reactions to the new trailer have been mixed, to say the least. But for Daniel Roebuck, he couldn’t be more excited for everyone to see the film. He says that he hopes this trailer answers any questions and speculation about where Eddie and Marilyn are.

We spoke to Roebuck earlier this year about the film when he couldn’t share much, but he did share what it’s like to work with Rob Zombie.
