‘Candy Land’ — NSFW Poster Art Reveal And Brand New Clip [Exclusive]
From writer/director John Swab and Roxwell Films comes Candy Land, a gritty new title about sex, religion, and violence. Today we’ve landed an exclusive new clip for the movie which received a standing ovation at the Locarno Film Festival on August 9th! Check out the fascinating scene below.
The film follows a young disciple of a religious cult, Remy, who stumbles upon a rag-tag group of truck stop sex workers known as “lot lizards” who take her under their wing. As Remy immerses herself in this new underground world, her true colors are revealed in a way that neither her former family nor new family could have ever imagined.
Dread Central recently premiered an exclusive look at the trailer for Candy Land. Check it out here, but be careful, this one is very NSFW. So proceed with caution (and definitely don’t watch in a public place).
Olivia Luccardi, Eden Brolin, Sam Quartin, Owen Campbell, and Billy Baldwin star in the film. Next up for Candy Land is a FrightFest showcase in London on August 27th.
