Lawrence Gilliard, Jr., Confirmed to Join The Walking Dead Season 4Following up on a story from earlier this week, Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. (D’Angelo on “The Wire”), is now confirmed as joining Season 4 of “The Walking Dead,” and we have some clarification as to which character he’ll be playing.

Per TV Guide, Gilliard will play Bob Stookie, a former Army medic who is haunted by his past, both prior to the zombie apocalypse and after. The comic version of the character, Bob Stookey, is a much older man, the local town drunk of Woodbury, who was also a former Army medic.
