‘Satanic Hispanics’ Teaser: New Anthology Film Dives Deep Into Latin Folklore
Do you love horror anthologies? Then do we have one for you! From Dread comes Satanic Hispanics, an anthology of five short films from some of the leading Latin filmmakers in the horror genre that spotlight Hispanic talent both in front and behind the camera.
When police raid a house in El Paso, they find it full of dead Latinos, and only one survivor. He’s known as The Traveler, and when they take him to the station for questioning, he tells them those lands are full of magic and talks about the horrors he’s encountered in his long time on this earth, about portals to other worlds, mythical creatures, demons, and the undead.

The directors featured in Satanic Hispanics is a who’s who of Hispanic talent working in horror. They include Mike Mendez, Demian Rugna, Eduardo Sánchez, Gigi Saul Guerrero, and Alejandro Brugues. Alejandro Mendez, Demian Rugna, Adam Cesare, Lino K. Villa wrote the script.
Efren Ramirez (Napoleon Dynamite), Greg Gunberg (Star Wars IX), Jacob Vargas (Sons Of Anarchy), Hemky Madera (Weeds), Patricia Velasquez (The Mummy), Jonah Ray Rodrigues, Demian Salomon, Luis Machin, and Ari Allegos star in the film.
Satanic Hispanics has its world premiere at Fantastic Fest later this month.
