Marlon Wayans’ sequel to A Haunted House has landed itself a release date and will hit theatres on March 28, 2014. But will you be there to hit back? If only for shits and giggles?

Marlon Wayans stated, “I’m excited about the release date of March 28th — just in time for inebriated spring breakers to take a break from partying to laugh their asses off then get back to partying.”

The original A Haunted House took in around $40 million worldwide and will be debuting on home video on August 23rd. That being said, Variety is reporting that Open Road Films has acquired U.S. distribution rights to spoof sequel A Haunted House 2, starring Marlon Wayans, who is also co-writing the script.

Production of the sequel will take place this summer, and Open Road will release it nationwide next winter. Look for more on this one as it comes.
