James Wan’s The Conjuring was famously inspired by the actual case files of Ed and Lorraine Warren, demonologists who claimed they just wanted to help those plagued by the paranormal. The Warrens were called in the 1970s to help the Perron family who was experiencing unexplainable events in their Rhode Island home. Now, a new documentary, The Harrisville Haunting is reopening the case to reexamine what happened to the Perrons.

Four paranormal researchers and YouTubers document the paranormal claims of the former Arnold family farmhouse built in 1736. It’s now known as the Harrisville Farmhouse and was the inspiration for the well-known movie The Conjuring. Are the extreme paranormal claims from the film real? Join researchers Matt Benton, Joe Vitale, Bill Cook, and Eric Conner as they delve into this mysterious haunting and share their incredible findings and evidence.

In our exclusive clip from the documentary, investigators and one of the Perron daughters explain the vicious attacks Carolyn Perron endured while living in the house.
