Fans Say The Number One Thriller On Netflix Is Disturbing: “It literally unlocked a new fear within me”

We love an international thriller that triggers fears about things we use every day. This is why this film has been doing very well in the Netflix charts. So well that it has dialed into the #1 spot in the Films (Non-English) category. Our reigning queen this week is Unlocked.

In the film, a woman’s life is turned upside-down when a dangerous man gets a hold of her lost cell phone and uses it to track her every move.

Unlocked a Netflix film based on a novel of the same name by Akira Teshigawara. It was written and adapted for the screen by Tae-joon Kim. It stars Si-wan Yim, Woo-hee Chun, Kim Hee-won, and Park Ho-San.

Unlocked has Twitter shaking with their iPhones in hand. People are looking at their smartphones differently, with some even joking about going off the grid. Many viewers also happen to be Si-wan fans and are celebrating their crush is turning it out in this sinister Netflix film.

Unlocked on Netflix seems like the movie to make us all mistrust our devices. I foresee a ton of us unplugging from the cloud and going outside. The outdoors terrifies me, but I’m going to be a brave little toaster and hit play anyway.

If you need more convincing though, check out this disturbing trailer below.
