‘Cobweb’: Lizzy Caplan And Anthony Starr to Star In New Horror Film
Kids have incredible imaginations. They can craft entire worlds within the confines of their living rooms with toys serving as heroes and monsters. But, with that imagination can come a lot of fear, especially as thoughts run wild with horrific possibilities. Was that noise just the house creaking, or some terrible beast waiting to gobble you up? In the upcoming Lionsgate film, Cobweb plays with the idea that maybe it’s not just all in a kid’s head.

Eight-year-old Peter is plagued by a mysterious, constant tap, tap from inside his bedroom wall – a tapping that his parents insist is all in his imagination. As Peter’s fear intensifies, he believes that his parents (Lizzy Caplan and Antony Starr) could be hiding a terrible, dangerous secret and questions their trust. And for a child, what could be more frightening than that?
Lizzy Caplan, Antony Starr, Cleopatra Coleman, and Woody Norman star in Cobweb. Samuel Bodin directed the film with a script by Chris Thomas Devlin.
Cobweb comes exclusively to theaters via Lionsgate on July 21, 2023.
