‘Killer Kites’ Invade The Sky In Bizzare New Trailer

A new horror-comedy is coming from up above later this month. It looks absolutely silly, and the tagline, “Not the scariest movie…but it’s up there,” is possibly one of our new favorites. The independent film Killer Kites is set to land on May 26th.

Synopsis

When Abby’s grandma dies, the only thing she inherits is a stupid kite – after giving it to her brother; he is mysteriously killed and the kite disappears. While searching for the truth, she is tangled in a strange supernatural plot, where this killer kite continues to kill! Now, Abby must string together a way to stop the kite before it blows us all away. Kites may not be the scariest monster ever, but they’re up there

Killer Kites was directed by Paul Dale and Austin Frosch. It was written by Austin Frosch. The film stars Manon Pages, Austin Naulty, and Carter Simoneaux.

We can honestly say kite horror is one of the most underserved subgenres, and we can’t even think of that many titles that involve this specific deadly threat. However, it’s a great time to take it out with most of us still looking towards the skies in fear after Nope.
