Who doesn’t love a good shark movie? There’s nothing more terrifying than the ocean, in my humble opinion, and sharks are the epitome of that terror with their sharp teeth and sheer power. What’s scarier than a shark? A megalodon, which is essentially a monster shark. This monster is stalking the waters of Adrian Grünberg’s new aquatic horror The Black Demon.

Oilman Paul Sturges’ (Josh Lucas) idyllic family vacation turns into a nightmare when they encounter a ferocious megalodon shark that will stop at nothing to protect its territory. Stranded and under constant attack, Paul and his family must somehow find a way to get his family back to shore alive before it strikes again in this epic battle between humans and nature.

Dread Central spoke with Lucas about his underrated aquatic horror favorites, his first time being scared of a horror movie, and more.
