‘Brooklyn 45’ Trailer: A Friendly Seance Goes Wrong In The Newest Film from Ted Geoghegan [Watch]
Writer and director Ted Geoghegan made a splash in the horror world with his 2015 directorial debut We Are Still Here, a chilling (literally and figuratively) and bloody piece about trauma starring the incredible Barbara Crampton and Larry Fessenden. Now, almost a decade later, Geoghegan is unleashing his most personal film yet, Brooklyn 45. Part ghost story, part chamber piece, Geoghegan imbues his single-location horror with both heart and terror.
Read the full synopsis:
December 27, 1945. Five military veterans gather in the ornate parlor of a Brooklyn brownstone. Best friends since childhood, they’ve reunited to support their troubled host. But when his invitation for cocktails turns into an impromptu séance, the metaphoric ghosts of their past become all too literal.
Trapped in their host’s lounge, the Greatest Generation now finds themselves put to one final test, with their only route to freedom being more bloodshed.
