A few years back we posted some clips and info about a somewhat mysterious project from Jennifer Elster that included a segment called “…In the Woods,” and now finally things are coming together under the banner of The Being Experience, and we have a new trailer to share.
Synopsis:
The Being Experience is a collection of films that explores the unfamiliar and urges you to dig deep within yourself. It begins with “…In the Woods,” Part 1 of a multi-part film series featuring Terrence Howard, Rufus Wainwright, Dave Matthews, Famke Janssen, Gale Harold, Aubrey deGrey, Rosie Perez, Jorgen Leth, Will Shortz, Paz de la Huerta, Liya Kebede, Moby, Aimee Mullins, Kent Cullers, Debra Winger, Marlo Thomas, Alan Cumming, Ahmir Questlove Thompson, Bob Mankoff, Karen Black, and Temple Grandin, Ph.D., with wild vocalizations by Yoko Ono.
A daring walk into the unknown, the series delves deep inside its subjects and ends up in uncharted terrain.
Get ready for an unusual ride.
The first installment of “…In the Woods” will premiere on June 25th on TheBeingExperience.com. Coming in the future are the feature films …Into the Cave, In My Mirror, The Mill, Concrete Underground, and But We Are Home. It’s quite an ambitious slate, and we’ll be keeping our eyes on things to see how they progress so look for more soon.
