Cinderella Is Getting Her Own Horror Movie: “There are going to be some truly horrific deaths by her hands”
If you’re a fan of fairytales getting gritty makeovers, then we have some news for you. The next Disney princess to put her toe in the horror waters will be none other than Cinderella.
According to Bloody Disgusting, Louisa Warren will direct Cinderella’s Curse. The script is written by Harry Boxley. The film stars Kelly Rian Sanson, Chrissie Wunna, and Danielle Scott.
Filming is set to start in the UK this June. The finished product is expected to arrive this October in time for your Halloween shenanigans.

Louisa Warren is mostly known for directing the Tooth Fairy franchise and a slew of horror movies usually found on Tubi. Which gives us hope that Cinderella’s Curse will have some chaotic kills.
We don’t know just how far this reimagining will stray from the original story. However, according to Collider, Warren promised that audiences were in for “an incredibly unique spin on the Cinderella we all love and know,” adding, “There are going to be some truly horrific deaths by her hands.”

We can only hope our fair maiden goes medieval on her evil stepsisters and stepmother. However, should we be worried for the Fairy Godmother? Might her Prince’s charms land him in hot water? Only time will tell.
