‘Unseen’ Spins A Terrifying Tale About A Twisted Killer [Giallo Julian’s Indie Spotlight]

What’s scarier than a “seen killer”? If you said an “overseen killer”, I suppose you’re not wrong. That would be unnerving… the killer’s seen everywhere, not caring about stealth and just going full slasher down the street for all to witness. Like, you just can’t get rid of the guy. Yeah, I can see that being worse. Not the answer I’m looking for, though!

I was talking about an “unseen killer”. One of those lurking creeps that hide in the shadows and pounce when your back is turned. Y’know… a coward. Have to wait until I’m in the shower with my guard down to strike? Well, the joke’s on you, Unseen Killer, my guard’s always up because I have a clinical anxiety disorder! Ahem, anyway, I’m here to talk about Steve Merlo’s (The Sawyer Massacre) upcoming feature—Unseen!

Read the full synopsis:

“In the aftermath of an unknown disaster, a mentally unstable man attempts to satisfy his conscience while tormenting a woman with an abusive past.”

Merlo serves as the film’s writer/director, starring Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Brett Wagner (The Amityville Moon), Angel Bradford (Crackcoon) Roland Keller (The Sawyer Massacre), Emily Mayzes, Sarkis Bakalyan (Pride Jewel), with Adam Ginsberg as the “Unseen Man”, and introducing Trinity Chase as “Crystal”. Ah, Felissa Rose, it’s been a while. I was wondering when I was going to see your name pop up again. Always a pleasure!

The SFX department is headed by Thomas Swift (Sick & Twisted FX), with Joe Lawrence (More Cents Designs) as the film’s Graphic Artist and William D. Amendola as the Director of Photography.

Unseen’s Indiegogo is live, so if you’d like to support the feature, you can do so right here.

Whenever I hear more about the project, you’ll hear from me.

Until next time…

Ciao, friends!
