Do Not Watch: 5 Of The Most Shocking Underground Gore Movies, According to TikTok [Video]
Like all the other millennials, we here at Dread Central spend a lot of time on TikTok. And just like everyone else, we even have our favorite content horror creators over there. It’s usually these brave souls who search out the most unsettling and shocking films in history and make lists warning us not to watch these titles. So it’s no surprise that stoney_tha_great’s 5 of the Most Disturbing Films to EVER Exist video jumped out at us this morning.
Stoney’s list is hard to even listen to him talk about, let alone imagine watching any of them. At one point in the TikTok, he says, “These aren’t even horror movies, but are just shock and gore.” We’re not brave enough to seek these disturbing videos out. However, some of you might feel compelled to see if they’re as awful as they seem. So let’s take a peek:
Ostermontag (1991)
Heiko Fipper wrote, directed, and starred in this movie. He plays a man who kidnaps, rapes, and murders the woman he claims to be in love with. He also kills his stepsister and some of his friends along the way. The movie is also known as Snuff Holocaust and I Spit on Your Fucking Grave, Bitch!
Death 2 Kuffar
Death 2 Kuffar is a shockumentary video of a beheading. This is definitely from the era of the internet where nothing was censored, so anyone could watch whatever disturbing thing was uploaded. Definitely do not seek this one out. We’re just reporting on the list and do not condone witnessing anything like this.
Fetus Muncher Volumes 1 and 2
Both volumes are compilations of porn, televangelists, terrorist videos, and violence. The videos are sped up and underscored with death metal and J-pop. Sounds fun, I guess.
Philosophy of a Knife (2008)
This film takes place in Japan during WWII. It follows Unit 731 as they conduct inhuman experiments on people for research. Stoney refers to it as one of the goriest films he’s ever seen. Hard pass.
Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom (1975)
In the film from acclaimed director Pier Paolo Pasolini, nine adolescents are abducted and subjected to 120 days of rape and torture. Stoney claims it is possibly the most disturbing movie he has ever seen. And he’s not alone.
