The #1 horror movie on Netflix is celebrating her second week being the queen of the streamer. Run Rabbit Run is the movie we all seem to be hitting play on this month.

Netflix Synopsis

“As a fertility doctor, Sarah has a firm understanding of the cycle of life. However, when she is forced to make sense of the increasingly strange behavior of her young daughter, Sarah must challenge her own beliefs and confront a ghost from her past.”

Run Rabbit Run was directed by Daina Reid. It was written by Hannah Kent. It stars Sarah Snook, Lily LaTorre, Damon Herriman, and Greta Scacchi.

Most of the internet can’t get over the stellar performances in this disturbing thriller. Others have discovered a new child in the genre that’s too creepy to keep in the home. It is ironic to see that torch pass from another Australian horror kid, The Babadook’s Samuel (Noah Wiseman), to Run Rabbit Run’s Mia (Lily LaTorre).

Even Dread Central’s Managing Editor, Josh Korngut, highlighted Sarah Snook’s performance alongside Daina Reid’s direction in his review. Korngut wrote, “The talents of Snook and Reed are towering. And while other performers and filmmakers would have delivered this material into a grueling and tiresome runtime, these talents are able to keep the audience’s attention for most of the experience.”
