The Seen and The Unseen – There Was a Ghost in the Outfield, Coach! Seriously!

I love the game of baseball and tried to play as a kid. Sadly, I didn’t play well, and my short-lived Little League career ended after my first year. Imagine a scared kid shutting his eyes when he swung, the ball popping up to hit him in the face, and him tripping over his own feet.
Too bad I didn’t know about the “ghost” excuse for my bad play.
According to USA Today (McPaper), three players from UNC tripped over themselves during the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. The video shows three players running after a pop fly, and two of the players look as if they are being shoved from behind. The problem? No one shows up on the camera.
No one wanted to comment on the incident after the game.
Seriously, I wish I had a time machine. “Coach, I’m not a terrible ballplayer; the ghosts just hate me.”
