This Denzel Washington action thriller might’ve finally slid from the charts. However, it hasn’t left our hearts or our Twitter feeds. If your week could use more Denzel, we suggest you check out Safe House on Prime Video.

Rotten Tomatoes Synopsis

For the past year, rookie CIA agent Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds) has been eager to prove himself while cooling his heels at an inactive South African post. He gets the chance when Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington), a turncoat operative, is brought to Weston’s safe house for debriefing. But soon after Frost’s arrival, mercenaries attack, and Weston and Frost barely escape with their lives. The two men must join forces and try to stay alive long enough to figure out who wants them dead.

Safe House was directed by Daniel Espinosa and written by David Guggenheim. It stars Denzel Washington, Ryan Reynolds, Robert Patrick, Vera Farmiga, Brendan Gleeson, and Liam Cunningham.

As usual, Twitter is stanning one of the greatest actors of our lifetime for churning out another award-worthy performance. The Denzel Hive has come out in full force to keep this movie trending across multiple streamers over the last year.

It’s a good thing the thriller turned out to be a good movie seeing how Ryan Reynolds injured Denzel Washington while filming. As awkward as this story is, imagine if you hit Denzel Thee Washington in the face twice and the film flopped. 

Because the internet kept telling me to watch it, I did. However, some of you don’t buckle to peer pressure the same way. This is why I have the trailer below to entice you to add this to your Denzel bingo card.
