Being a teenager can suck, man. As I sit here typing this on my birthday of all days, I reflect on my teen years and can honestly say, “Nope, don’t want those back.” I mean, come on… puberty, acne, peer pressure, feverish masturbation, ghostly visions of the dead…
From the Press Release
Ruthless Pictures has picked up North American rights to teen horror film Aberration. Director Douglas Elford-Argent, who recently directed The Brazen Bull starring Michael Madsen and Rachel Hunter, created an elegantly shot film with a dose of teeth-grinding suspense.
Troubled teenager Christy Dawson is a conduit between the worlds of the living and the dead. Unable to control or understand her ghostly visions, she’s increasingly witness to disturbing glimpses into the future. Someone is killing everyone around her, and she’s running out of people she can trust. Can Christy uncover the truth behind a decades-old mystery before ending up the next victim?
The film stars Gwendolyn Garver (The Brazen Bull), Cal Thomas (“The O.C.”), Kristian Capalik (“Cougar Town”).
The deal was negotiated by Ruthless Pictures CEO Jesse Baget and Ryan Harper of Your Half Media Group, LLC.
