The #1 Movie On Prime Video Is Now A Massive Razor-Toothed Thriller
It seems aquatic horror fans are not quite ready to get out of the water this summer. This new title just took a huge bite out of the Prime Video charts and is now the #1 movie. The project chewing up the competition this week is The Black Demon, and here is what you need to know about this movie that premiered this spring.

“Josh Lucas (Ford v Ferrari, Yellowstone) stars in this edge-of-your-seat action thriller from the director of Rambo: Last Blood. Oilman Paul Sturges’ (Josh Lucas) idyllic family vacation turns into a nightmare when they encounter a ferocious megalodon shark that will stop at nothing to protect its territory. Stranded and under constant attack, Paul and his family must somehow find a way to get his family back to shore alive before it strikes again in this epic battle between humans and nature.”

The Black Demon was directed by Adrian Grunberg. It was written by Boise Esquerra. It stars Josh Lucas, Fernanda Urrejola, Julio Cesar Cedillo, Omar Chaparro, Bolivar Sanchez, and Carlos Solórzano.
The science fiction thriller made a splash at the box office on April 28 before swimming to digital on May 30. It only recently appeared in the deep end on Prime Video. It has a runtime of 100 minutes.
