Viewers Say The #1 Thriller On Hulu Is “Incredibly gripping” and Has “Palpable tension”

A 2022 psychological thriller just made its way onto the Hulu Top 10 Charts. This one deals with very heavy subject matter that is upsetting many viewers. However, that’s not stopping them from putting their Starz premium add-on to work. The new trending movie today is Alice, Darling. Here’s what we know about the film.

“In the taut thriller Alice, Darling, Oscar® nominee Anna Kendrick (Up in the Air) stars as a woman pushed to the breaking point by her psychologically abusive boyfriend, Simon. While on vacation with two close girlfriends, Alice rediscovers the essence of herself and gains some much-needed perspective. Slowly, she starts to fray the cords of codependency that bind her. But Simon’s vengeance is as inevitable as it is shattering — and, once unleashed, it tests Alice’s strength, her courage, and the bonds of her deep-rooted friendships.”

Alice, Darling was directed by Mary Nighy. The movie was written by Alanna Francis. It stars Anna Kendrick, Kaniehtiio Horn, Charlie Carrick, Wunmi Mosaku, Mark Winnick, and Carolyn Fe.

Many viewers are struck by what a difficult watch the film is due to the subject matter. Others are calling it the best performance of Anna Kendrick’s career.

Once I discovered Wunmi Mosaku was in the cast, I put it on my must-watch list. I have been obsessed with her since I saw Lovecraft Country and His House. Mosaku is one of the most underrated actors working, and I try to see whatever she’s doing.
