With San Diego Comic-Con looming, it’s nice to have some actual comics news to report. Monsterverse has sent over the new cover art for Bela Lugosi’s Tales from the Grave #4 and Flesh and Blood #3.
Popular anthology Bela Lugosi’s Tales from the Grave returns July 31st with Issue #4. Here are the details:

Synopsis: An anthology of terror tales told in the classic horror comics tradition and presented by the movies’ greatest vampire star, Bela Lugosi. Stories this issue include “The Evil Eye,” “The Monster,” an installment of “Bela’s Bedtime Stories,” and more. Edited by Kerry Gammill.
After the August 28th release of Vol. #3, there’s only one more installment of Flesh and Blood left to come so enjoy the series Guillermo del Toro labeled “Phenomenal!” while it lasts!

7:00pm – Horror Comics from the Monsterverse
A discussion of upcoming horror comics from Monsterverse featuring Bela Lugosi and classic undead monsters delivered with a modern twist. Learn of horror media projects from Scratch Lightning Productions. Sam F. Park (Monsterverse West Coast editor and Scratch Lightning executive producer) is joined by Hollywood concept, storyboard and Monsterverse comic artists Benton Jew (G.I. JOE) and Henry Mayo (Ted) and writer Ed Polgardy (From Dusk Til Dawn). Followed by a Q&A session and media presentation.
