Fans Call Out The #1 Netflix Documentary As “Gripping and deeply disturbing”

This true crime documentary hit Netflix on September 6th and immediately began upsetting viewers. The film sheds light on just how many Boy Scouts have been abused during the institution’s existence. Scout’s Honor: The Secret Files of the Boy Scouts of America is on the charts and educating people about the organization’s insidious history that has been hiding in plain sight for 100 years.

Scout’s Honor: The Secret Files of the Boy Scouts of America was directed by Brian Knappenberger(The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez, Nobody Speak: Trials of the Free Press). 

Many Netflix subscribers are obviously upset after watching the documentary. All viewers are shocked at the sheer volume of children who have been assaulted during this organization’s existence.

The documentary is not based on the 1994 book Scout’s Honor: Sexual Abuse in America’s Most Trusted Institution by Patrick Boyle. However, it does continue the conversation, and the filmmaker interviewed Boyle for the film.
