David Howard Thornton has all but solidified his place in the horror halls of fame with his performance as Art the Clown in Terrifier and Terrifier 2. His physicality and elastic face create deviously evil characters that are almost lovable. Almost. He uses those skills in the parody film The Mean One, directed by Steven LaMorte. Here, Thornton dons a hairy green suit to portray a killer version of a beloved Christmas grump.

The Mean One is a hairy, green-skinned grump in a Santa suit, living on a mountain high above the town of Newville, despising the holiday season. Young Cindy You-Know-Who (Krystle Martin), whose parents were butchered by The Mean One twenty Christmases earlier, is returning to town to seek closure… but when the creature launches a new reign of terror that threatens to destroy Christmas, Cindy finds a bold new purpose – trapping and killing the monster.
