DreadXP The Mortuary Assistant

DreadXP, indie game publisher and sister company to Dread Central, has announced the lineup for the forthcoming Indie Horror Game Showcase. On October 19th, DreadXP, indie horror game curator Hürcan Köse (HorrorVisuals), and The Media Indie Exchange (The MIX) will livestream the showcase. World premiere announcements, trailers, and updates for some of the horror genre’s most anticipated games have been teased alongside the announcement.

DreadXP Indie Showcase

Additionally, DreadXP has announced the premiere of first-look material for its video game adaptation of Shudder and Cartel’s horror anthology Creepshow. The show’s fourth season will premiere this Friday, October 13. DreadXP has announced that Creepshow the game will “bring the hit series to an interactive format in 2024 across multiple platforms, featuring the twisted talents of several renowned independent video game developers and The Mortuary Assistant developer Brian Clarke (DarkStone Digital) acting as the game’s creative director.”

Lastly, DreadXP has announced updates on the dating-sim sequel Sucker for Love: Date to Die For, updates on Dread Delusion’s cosmic expansion, and news on four new games from the publisher. You can learn more about DreadXP and their awesome work here.

The Indie Horror Game Showcase will livestream on October 19, 2023, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. It’ll be co-streamed by IGNGamespot, The MIX (YouTubeTwitch.tv), HorrorVisuals’ YouTube, and on DreadXP’s YouTube and Steam publisher page
