Unholy New Netflix Documentary Revealing Dark Truth Behind Latest ‘Conjuring’ Dominates the Streamer

The #1 documentary on Netflix is about a case so terrifying that it inspired countless possession movies over the years. While most of us most recently saw this story unfold in The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It none of us were prepared to hear from the people who were involved in the actual case. The Devil on Trial gives the people who lived through this scary event a chance to tell their side of the story.

Official Netflix Synopsis

The Devil on Trial explores the first — and only — time “demonic possession” that has officially been used as a defense in a US murder trial. Including firsthand accounts of alleged devil possession and shocking murder, this extraordinary story forces reflection on our fear of the unknown.”

The Devil on Trial was directed by Chris Holt. The film combines interviews, home footage, and reenactments of this unbelievable tale. It also features interviews with Arne Cheyenne Johnson. Johnson is the formerly possessed man who stood trial for manslaughter while claiming to be inhabited by a demonic entity at the time of the murder.
