Texas Frightmare Weekend 2014: First Guests and Theme Announced! It may seem a long way away, but when you’re putting on a massive show like Texas Frightmare Weekend, you have to start early, and the organizers have announced the first guests and theme of their 2014 edition, set to take place May 2-4.

The theme, suggested in teasers for the past couple of months, is the Terminator 30th Anniversary as well as the Creature from the Black Lagoon 60th Anniversary.

Guests announced thus far include Linda Hamilton and Michael Biehn from Terminator. For Creature from the Black Lagoon, we have heroine Julie Adams and Ricou Browning, the Gill-man in the water. Four cinema legends in one place with TONS more to come.

We’re assuming it’s safe to guess that Biehn will bring with him some cast and news from the various Blanc/Biehn Productions projects we’ve been reporting on lately, including the Hidden in the Woods remake the team filmed in and around Houston.

All tickets for the show are now on sale at the Texas Frightmare Weekend website, and reservations at the Hyatt Regency DFW are also available here if you want an early jump at what is always a completely sold-out event hotel.

Stay tuned to Dread Central for more announcements from the show as we approach 2014!
