Sheila Kelley Rounds Out The Guest List Up next for the You’re Next writing/directing duo of Simon Barrett and Adam Wingard is The Guest, which has just acquired the final piece of the casting puzzle in Sheila Kelley, known for her work in Matchstick Men and the TV shows “Gossip Girl” and “Lost”, among others.

She joins the previously announced Chase Williamson, Lance Reddick, Brendan Meyer, Dan Stevens and Maika Monroe in the film. Stevens (“Downton Abbey”) stars as David, an ex-Marine who returns from a tour of duty and is taken in by a fallen comrade’s family, whom he proceeds to terrorize. As the female lead, Monroe will seek to protect her family from David’s cold-blooded wrath. Meyer will play Monroe’s younger brother, while Reddick will play a government agent aware of David’s medical history who sets out to stop his violent rampage. Kelley plays the family’s grieving matriarch.

Adam Wingard will direct from a script by Simon Barrett, while Keith Calder and Jessica Wu will produce via Snoot Entertainment. Production just recently began.
