Chucky Season 3, Part 1 was overflowing with special guests, fantastic kills, and gruesome surprises. This left many fans wondering how they could possibly follow it up in the season’s second half. Well, the obvious answer seems to be casting cult film royalty. The “Prince of Puke”, “Sultan of Sleaze”, “Baron of Bad Taste”, and “Pope of Trash”, otherwise known as John Waters, will appear in an episode of our favorite sociopathic doll series.

Fans of the franchise last saw Waters play Pete Peters in 2004’s Seed Of Chucky. In the film, his character was given a very memorable and acidic death fit for a king. This means Waters will definitely have to play a new character with a very high death bar to clear. According to Entertainment Weekly, our Prince of Puke will play Wendell Wilkins, a recluse who created the Good Guy dolls.

This news also means that John Waters will become one of the handful of recurring actors in the Child’s Play/Chucky Universe. The legendary filmmaker will join the ranks of Jennifer Tilly, Devon Sawa, Fiona Dourif, and Michael Therriault, who have all played multiple characters in the ongoing Charles Lee Ray saga.

Chucky Season 3, Part 2 is currently filming and is expected to premiere sometime in 2024. So, we all have to wait a bit longer to see what our little killer doll will do to the Baron of Bad Taste this time around. However, we can all rest assured it will be grand… and probably gross.
