Don’t Starve: Newhome Is Klei’s Hardcore And Humorous Survival Game, Coming Soon To Mobile
Tencent Games announced today an upcoming mobile adaption of Klei Entertainment’s popular series, Don’t Starve. Focused on the same premise of, well, not starving, Don’t Starve: Newhome will keep the same great survival game formula, while “while introducing social and multiplayer elements that expand gameplay.” This includes faster play sessions, personalized progression, and persistent home bases.
Set in a dark, surreal world, Don’t Starve: Newhome will follow a whole new cast of characters in an entirely new campaign. What that campaign will be about, we don’t know. The trailer begins with Wilson experiencing a vision of these new characters, so it’s possible it takes place in the same “world,” but at the moment, your guess is as good as mine.
