Hellbenders Finally Seeing a Release!Well it’s about damned time! We’ve been waiting for J.T. Petty’s latest film, Hellbenders, to see a release for a couple of years now, and a launch date is finally in sight! We believe in miracles! Read on for details.

Petty took to Twitter to let the world know that deliciously dark days are coming on strong as the flick will be heading to both VOD and theatres on October 18th! In case you missed it… check out our Hellbenders review from last year’s Toronto International Film Festival! Look for more soon!

Hellbenders stars Clancy Brown, Clifton Collins, Jr., Andre Royo, Robyn Rikoon, Macon Blair and Dan Folger. The film was produced by Jon Denny, Lawrence Mattis, David Moscow, Mark Pederson and Aldey Sanchez.

Synopsis:
Hellbenders follows the exploits of the Brooklyn-based Augustine Interfaith Order of Hellbound Saints, known as Hellbenders, a team of lewd and blasphemous ministers who live in a constant state of debauchery in order to be damnation-ready so they can drag the worst of demons back to Hell. When one of the foulest demons possess one of their own and threatens the existence of both Brooklyn and the world, the Hellbenders’ faith is tested.

Kim and Ket Stay Alive... Maybe
Ep. 344 Oddity Part 2: “The Tale of the Woodm’n”
Ket tells Kim Part 2 of Oddity. Kim refreshes our goldfish brains on how it all shook out in part 1. So, let’s all sit back down and have a charcuterie with our terrifying Man ‘o’ Wood. All the girls can ask is “does anyone have the hook up on where they could find their own Woodm’n? We have some ‘monsters’ to vanquish.” Most importantly, we’ll learn if Kim will live or die in Oddity. Writer/Dir. Scarred For Life
Episode 266: Opus Writer/Director Mark Anthony Green and Michael Jackson's Thriller (1983)
This week we were unbelievably excited to chat with writer and director Mark Anthony Green! We talk about his feature film debut Opus, working with musical icons The-Dream and Nile Rodgers, Ayo Edebiri's star power and the eccentricities (and graciousness) of John Malkovich. Mark Anthony shares a fantastic story of John on set and so much more before we dig a bit into his horror history and find out why Michael Jackson's Thriller music video scared him as a kid. A shorter episode this week, but easily one of our favorite conversations in a long while. Don't miss it. And go see Opus in theaters!Follow Mary Beth, Terry and the Podcast on Bluesky.
