Get an Exclusive First Look at Carrion’s Soundtrack With This Moody Tune
A lot of people are excited for Carrion, the reverse horror metroidvania that Devolver is publishing. You get a chance to play as a horrible tentacle blob monster after all. Now we’ll also bring you a first look at the game’s soundtrack.
The track we have is titled The End As We Know It, and is a creepy foreboding tune that sounds just like you’re an angry monster stalking some poor victim. However, in the last minute of the song, we get to hear things ramping up, as whoever is busy getting stalked soon find themselves… well they’re probably not being stalked anymore at least. The whole track is around three and a half minutes in length, and is rather awesome.
Carrion‘s soundtrack was composed by Cris Velasco, who has worked on several horror games before, such as ZombiU, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Hellgate: London, and Clive Barker’s Jericho. If it sounds like your jam, the full album will be released on 7/23, and you can head over here if you’re interested in nabbing it when it does.
Keep an eye on Dread XP, as we’ll have a review for Carrion up tomorrow. You can add the game to your wishlist here.
