Mortal Shell Launch Trailer Features One Cool Mortal Shell

In honor of the game’s release, developers Cold Symmetry released a new launch trailer for the Soulslike game, Mortal Shell. The trailer features a preview of Solomon, one of the four playable “shells” you obtain in the game. The video does not show all too much in terms of gameplay or lore, but is certainly a cool cinematic shot of one of the best looking areas of the game. 

Mortal Shell is a hack-n-slash RPG set in a dark and mysterious world. You play as a fragile and skinless grotesque body, who has the ability to control a dead body—the shell—and use it to gain their strengths. With four different shells to choose from and four weapons to master, Mortal Shell is a super-focused Soulslike that casts aside the BS for an authentic and challenging experience.

After learning about his horror history--including a memorable viewing of Night of the Living Dead--we find out why The Haunting terrified him as a twelve year old.
